Granny Smith at Knox market
Thursday, November 8th, 2012
WOOLLAHRA preserves cook Adrienne Carlson has made beautiful Christmas fruit mince with Colo River certified organic orange and lemon peel for Granny Smith Natural Food Market’s stall at the Knox Grammar School Christmas market tomorrow afternoon and evening – Friday 09 November. This wonderfully-organised annual market, open from 4:00pm to 9:30pm in the school’s Great Hall, offers fare and gifts from many stores on Sydney’s Upper North Shore and raises significant funds for the school’s Parents’ Association. Our selection will include hand-made preserves, confectionery, biscuits, cakes, puddings and beautiful teas from suppliers including Phillippa’s, Larsen & Thompson, Whisk & Pin, Sweetness the Patisserie and Carlson’s. We’ll also have sustainably produced Australian-designed and printed cards and paper and Naked Food, a new book by Northern Beaches’ cook Jane Grover. Granny Smith customers will also be able to pick up their copy of this year’s Christmas produce order form. And don’t forget to ask us about 1% for the Planet and our contribution from our Turramurra store’s annual gross profit to local environmental projects through this wonderful programme. We look forward to being at Knox and seeing you at Knox.
